The evening half of YSKC’s Fall Concert shines with the power and artistry of our Philharmonic and Symphony Orchestras, bringing audiences a night of orchestral mastery and unforgettable performance. This program showcases the depth and maturity of YSKC’s ensembles while featuring a world-class guest soloist.

Program Highlights

• Paganini’s Violin Concerto no. 1 in D Major — performed by internationally acclaimed violinist Alexander Markov, whose dazzling virtuosity and expressive range have captivated audiences worldwide.
• Tchaikovsky’s Suite from “Swan Lake.”

• 4:15 PM – Symphony Orchestra arrives

• 5:30 PM – Philharmonic Orchestra arrives
• 6:00–7:00 PM – Philharmonic Orchestra sound check
• 7:10 PM – House doors open
• 7:30 PM – Concert begins
• ~10:00 PM – Concert concludes 

Additional Details

• Concert attire required for all student performers
• Tickets required for audience members (available through the Midwest Trust Center Box Office)
• All YSKC students are expected to attend and listen to the portion of the program in which they are not performing, seated in areas designated by YSKC staff
