The second half of YSKC’s Spring Concert brings the Classical Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra to the stage of Helzberg Hall for a powerful season finale. This program highlights the artistry, depth, and musical growth of our senior ensembles as they perform masterworks of the orchestral tradition in one of the nation’s premier concert halls.

Conductors

• Guest Conductor Rico McNeela – Classical Orchestra
• Dr. Steven D. Davis – Symphony Orchestra

Together, they lead YSKC’s most advanced ensembles in a concert that celebrates both the achievements of our musicians and the transformative power of orchestral music.

Event Schedule

• 4:30 PM – Symphony Orchestra arrives
• 4:45–5:45 PM – Symphony Orchestra sound check
• 5:10 PM – Classical Orchestra arrives
• 5:45–6:30 PM – Classical Orchestra sound check
• 6:30 PM – House doors open
• 7:00 PM – Concert begins
• ~9:00 PM – Concert concludes 

Additional Details

• Concert attire required for all performers
• Tickets required for audience members (available through the Kauffman Center Box Office)
• All YSKC students are expected to attend and support other ensembles, seated in areas designated by YSKC/Kauffman staff
